The Self-Help Group Clearinghouse just released their June newsletter, titled “Spring Reflections, Summer Connections.”

This edition includes a comprehensive SHCH update, covering the work accomplished across support group requests, trainings and workshops, and community outreach, alongside a section recognizing staff achievements and awards. It also highlights June observances and related support group resources, ending with a variety of community flyers sent in from all over NJ.

Here’s a snippet: “Feels like the months are flying by! How is it summer already?!
The days are getting a lot hotter, longer, and before we know it, we’ll all be searching for the nearest pool, stocking up on popsicles, and trying to remember to reapply sunscreen throughout the day…

June is also Pride Month, Men’s Mental Health Month, and PTSD Awareness Month, each highlighting important experiences, identities, and areas of awareness. We’ll briefly touch on each, along with an acknowledgment of other important awareness efforts throughout the month. That being said, we’ll primarily focus on the work happening across the NJ Self-Help Clearinghouse this quarter—and the updates, outreach, trainings, and highlights that have shaped the past few months!”

For your convenience, a PDF of the newsletter is attached to this email, along with a linkhttps://conta.cc/4455ccp

The NJ Self-Help Clearinghouse team wishes you all a great Fourth of July and a summer to remember!
