Facilitating Through Crisis Webinar – 7/10/25

Join us for this interactive two-hour webinar designed to empower facilitators of support groups and peer-led spaces with the tools and strategies needed to manage challenging moments with clarity and care.

“Facilitating Through Crisis” will explore common types of group disruptions — including emotional outbursts, crisis disclosures, and interpersonal conflicts — and provide practical guidance for navigating them in real time. Participants will learn how to de-escalate tense situations, maintain group safety and cohesion, and respond with empathy without losing control of the group’s focus or purpose.

Whether you are new to facilitation or a seasoned peer leader, this training will help you build confidence, stay grounded under pressure, and approach disruptions as opportunities for growth and connection.

Engagement Strategies for Support Group Facilitators – 6/4/25

To maintain a successful support group, group facilitators must continue to engage and re-engage their group members with different tactics and strategies. This webinar will provide effective tools that a facilitator can use to keep their group members engaged and coming back each meeting!

During the webinar we will discuss:

  • Why engagement is important
  • How disclosure can be used to engage with individuals
  • What the barriers to engagement are and how to overcome those barriers
  • Re-engagement strategies that may be useful when attempting to re-engage those who have stopped attending the group
  • Creative tools that can be used to keep participants engaged in a support group
